How does Hastelloy C22 work?
The nickel-molybdenum-tungsten alloy Hastelloy C22 is the most adaptable because it is more resistant to both uniform and local corrosion. Hastelloy C276, Hastelloy C-4, and Hastelloy C625 are examples of Nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloys that are highly resistant to corrosion. Due to its ductility, it can also be easily cold worked. In numerous applications, this material has proven to be an alloy for filler components.
This rod’s molybdenum and chromium component is well-known and demonstrated. It has a higher level of resistance to oxidizing agents because it contains chromium. This combination confers uncommon protection from chloride-actuated breaking. Additionally, it is extremely ductile and weldable.
