Hastelloy C2000 Round Bar has excellent resistances to pitting, stress-corrosion cracking and oxidizing atmospheres up to 1900 °F. Some typical applications include equipment components in chemical and petrochemical organic chloride processes and processes utilizing halide or acid catalysts. Alloy C-276 has exceptional resistance to a wide variety of chemical environments. Other industry applications are pulp and paper (digesters and bleach areas), scrubbers and ducting for flue gas desulfurization, pharmaceutical and food processing equipment. The Alloy C2000 black Steel Bars are drawn through dies of the required shape. The raw material is chosen depending on the shape to be drawn. This increases the yield strength and tensile strength. This also eliminates a number of surface imperfections caused due to the rolling process.
